Supercells in western OK/TX Panhandle!

Super Surprise!!!
Ike might be a small hurricane in terms of size, but I guarantee it packs a punch. Ike has been upgraded several times today by the NHC (including a non scheduled update) and is now rated a Cat 3 with 115mph (100kt) winds and a central pressure of 960mb.

Ike is forecased to be a strong Cat 3 to moderate Cat 4 for the next few days as it aims for the Bahamas. In about 7 days Ike might get luckey enough to shoot the gap and make it into the Gulf with minimal land interaction. This could mean another large evacuation for the Gulf Coast.

Tornadoes likely again today across LA/MS!
